Come & See

The best way to experience what’s happening in the community is to come and see it for yourself.

But do us a favor.

Since we meet at homes and other locations throughout the week, send us a note and we’ll help you find the place that’s right for you!

House Church--Sundays at 11am, Fridays at 7pm

Contact us to learn more about how to join us for a house church gathering

Our house church gatherings of about 10-20 people allow space for everyone to participate as much or as little as they want. In a casual family-like setting, we share what we’re thankful for and how Jesus has loved others through us during the previous week. We spend time listening and responding to a passage from the Bible. We pray for various needs in the community and the world. Then we pray for someone in the group. We close our time together by praying the prayer Jesus taught his disciples to pray saying:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

After the gathering, the house church often shares a meal, goes on an outing or helps each other with whatever it takes to successfully begin the week!

Second Sunday Celebration @ The Center

1514 College Avenue Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401

On the Second Sunday of the month and for special days like Easter, the community gathers for worship and Holy Communion in a comfortable environment that’s essentially a bigger version of our smaller gatherings. We sing, we pray and we share testimonies together. On these weeks there’s a bit more space for teaching and extended opportunity for training and development.

During our larger gatherings we celebrate baptisms and life events like birthdays, wedding anniversaries or the birth of a child. Just before the Advent and Christmas seasons, we celebrate all that Jesus has done among us throughout the year and provide an opportunity for those in the community to commit or recommit to the Way of Life.
